Melling Engine Parts and Dura-Bond Receives Award from Jasper Engines & Transmissions

Melling Engine Parts and Dura-Bond (div. Melling Tool Co.) were recognized as Preferred Partners of 2007 to Jasper Engines & Transmissions. The award was presented during the Jasper Engines & Transmissions 21sth Annual Preferred Partners Banquet on March 19, 2008.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is a leading remanufacturer of drive train components, including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, alternate fuel engines, performance products and marine products, is celebrating its 66th year of operation. The Preferred Partner Award is presented annually to recognize the company’s Partners in Success. Recipients are nominated by an individual within the Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing or Payables divisions of the JASPER organization and are judged on Quality, Service, Fill-Rate, Response Time to a Problem, and Billing/Credit Procedures, among other criteria. Approval from all of the above mentioned divisions is required for selection as a Preferred Partner.

Oil Pumps

Camshafts

Valve Train

In addition to oil pumps and camshafts, Melling also offers a line of non-machinable valve train.  This includes: valve lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, rocker arm studs, rocker arm ball & nut kits, rocker arm balls, rocker arm pivots, rocker arm nuts, rocker arm bolts, rocker arm shafts, valves, valve springs, valve locks & valve spring retainers.

Timing

Melling offers a full range of timing products, including:  timing chains – single and double-roller, timing belts, timing kits, timing sprockets, timing gears, timing gear sets, tensioners, dampers, guides & timing covers.  At Melling we strive to be on the cutting edge of the latest engine timing applications for the automotive aftermarket.

Cylinder Sleeves

Dura-Bond Bearings

Our seamless, 100% machined surface design provides the tightest tolerances in the industry. The centerless ground OD and centerless bored ID result in wall variations of .0004 in., giving the customer increased system design flexibility.
