Melling Engine Parts and Dura-Bond Receives Award from Jasper Engines & Transmissions

Melling Engine Parts and Dura-Bond (div. Melling Tool Co.) were recognized as Preferred Partners of 2007 to Jasper Engines & Transmissions. The award was presented during the Jasper Engines & Transmissions 21sth Annual Preferred Partners Banquet on March 19, 2008.

“It is an honor to be a Preferred Partner to Jasper for the last three years and to know that our focus on product quality, product innovation, technical support and customer service are recognized”, said Mark Melling, CEO Melling Tool Co.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is a leading remanufacturer of drive train components, including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, alternate fuel engines, performance products and marine products, is celebrating its 66th year of operation. The Preferred Partner Award is presented annually to recognize the company’s Partners in Success. Recipients are nominated by an individual within the Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing or Payables divisions of the JASPER organization and are judged on Quality, Service, Fill-Rate, Response Time to a Problem, and Billing/Credit Procedures, among other criteria. Approval from all of the above mentioned divisions is required for selection as a Preferred Partner.

In 2006, our 60th year in business, we are re-inventing ourselves and creating this new chapter in our history book.

The Melling Select Performance brand was conceived in November 2004 to better market our current performance oil pumps, camshafts, timing components, valve train, and cylinder sleeves. We also have a goal to further analyze the performance engine parts market, specifically the “hobbyist street rodder” and the “weekend warrior racer” to develop new and innovative engine parts for them.

 In this new website we have added new charts, descriptions, and tech information as a tool for you to better select the correct part for your application.
